Emmanuel and his Noggin Knows class had a blast exploring how different animals communicate. Now, here’s a fun activity you and your kids can do at home!
Write down the names of different animals on small pieces of paper, fold each one, and put them in a jar or box.
Take turns picking one out and acting out the animal while the others guess which one it is. For instance, try galloping like a horse or licking your paws like a cat!
After playing this game, look up how each of the animals you picked communicate with each other. Do they stamp their feet? What kind of sounds do they make?
