Awareness of Self
- Feelings
Little kids experience big emotions, just as grown-ups do. Noggin teaches children to name, manage, and positively express their feelings.

- Self-Identity
When young kids develop an awareness of themselves – and how they connect to others – they’ll begin to take pride in themselves and their culture.

Awareness of Others
- Empathy
Kids learn to identify others' emotions, recognize that someone needs help, and figure out ways to help them. All of this requires taking another's perspective and putting yourself in their shoes.

- Valuing Others
When we teach little learners to celebrate individual similarities and differences, it helps them value different people and cultures in the diverse world around them.

Relationships
- Friendship
We teach kids to build strong relationships with others by helping them to problem solve fairly with friends as well as finding ways to help others.

- Problem Solving
When learning to solve problems fairly, kids will learn how to listen to and help others as well as cooperating and working together to complete tasks.

- Helping
Kids will learn ways they can be kind, fair, and helpful to their neighbors, their community, and the larger world we share.

- Upstanding
Noggin kids learn ways to be brave and supportive and how to speak up for themselves and for others when seeing or experiencing something that is not fair or right.
